Karla Fernandes is Brazilian. She started working remotely before it was a thing and became a digital nomad in 2011, residing in 11 countries and learning six languages along the way. Ten years later, she settled in her favorite place, Lucerne, Switzerland. She has 25 plus years of experience, working with more than 150 companies including well-known tech startups, education organizations, and service-based companies. Karla is a digital product designer consultant and mentor and launched more than a dozen apps as a team of one.
