As part of the master’s thesis workshop a project of selected elements of visual identification and an internet site for Hothey Cosmetics company were created.

The project was created as part of a master's thesis. The promoter of this artistic work was Dr. Justyna Kraszewska. Project of selected elements of visual identification and an internet site of a scam company. As part of the master’s thesis workshop a project of selected elements of visual identification and an internet site for Hothey Cosmetics company were created. This company is an example of a scam brand, which purpose is to bring attention to dangers, with which we can come into contact on the internet and social media. Thanks to this, user awareness will increase, protecting them from loosing their finances. The next positive aspect is the improvement of the psychological health of teens and adults, who are too focused on a fictional life on Instagram. The observations and studies allowed me to visualize, how many people depend on the opinions of influencers and youtubers in regards to making a purchase. Life shows, that a lot of those opinions are not credible, which leads to a lot of situations in which we lose our funds. The first part of my project is the visual identification of the Hotkey brand, which sells body oils. Those body oils are supposed to have positive effects of both the body and mind of a person. I started by designing the logo, and then making product labels, after which I’ve created a project of the product packaging. The second part was focused on an internet site, which is intended to reflect a standard store page. Besides all of that, I’ve implemented warning elements in the form of promises that were impossible to fulfil. The last part of the project was to make a mobile version of the site. In my opinion I deserve the award because the topic of my work is incredibly important in todays day and age. Apart from this, my project shows that art and design is not only about pretty paintings or furniture, but it also can perform an important social function. With the help of projects like mine, we can bring attention to important aspects of our lives, and maybe help someone. Additionally the project consisted of designing the brand, it’s UX, logo, labels, packages, my own fonts and an internet site, and it’s mobile version, which was an extensive scope of work.
