Case study

Gatenox serves as a comprehensive compliance and verification hub tailored for organizations engaged in the digital economy. The platform simplifies the corporate KYC process by unifying all aspects of customer onboarding within a single, seamless solution. Additionally, it offers a simple back-office for compliance users.

Our cooperation began with stating the requirements for both platforms that we were about to design. Some of them changed substantially during the design phase, as the user needs were still being researched. The platform had one primary purpose of enabling companies to check the compliance of their customers (also companies). This entailed creating a platform capable of handling large data input for customer companies and a verification hub for the company checking the compliance. As this system was a completely new product not available on the market we didn’t have available benchmarks from the industry. Since this system was a completely new product with no available industry benchmarks, we relied on our acquired knowledge to iterate on the design and bring the concept to life.

The second task was crafting branding for Gatenox that effectively visualized their values of new technology, innovation, safety, security, and protection. This presented a challenge as some might perceive these values to be contrasting. Ultimately, we chose a violet color as the basis of the branding, drawing on its relation to blue (conveying seriousness) and purple (representing novelty, innovation, and magic).

In conclusion, our work resulted in a substantial system that allowed companies to reduce their KYC processes from months to mere seconds, establishing Gatenox as a new and innovative brand.

We conquered challenges in Gatenox by creating an easy-to-use system without benchmarks. We digitized the paper KYC process, reducing it from 3 months to seconds! If something requires recognition we definitely think it's this achievement.
